Take orders

Your own ordering page. Zero commission.

A branded page on your own link where guests order direct — priced from your menu, paid into your own payment account, with the guest's details landing in your customer list instead of somebody else's.

The problem

A third-party order can cost more than the plate earns

Delivery marketplaces charge 15–30% — often 30–40% once promotions and fees are counted — against an industry that runs on a 3–5% net margin. The order still comes in, the kitchen still cooks it, and the profit is gone before the guest has finished eating. Worse, the app keeps the guest: the name, the number and the order history stay on their side of the wall, so the regular you earned is a customer you have to rent back every single time.

  • The commission is charged on the whole basket, not on your profit.
  • You cannot contact your own repeat customers.
  • The app decides your pricing, your promotions and your placement.
  • When they raise the rate, you find out by reading your statement.

How OwnTable solves it

A direct channel you own outright

OwnTable gives every restaurant its own ordering page — your name, your menu, your prices, your payment account. Nothing sits between you and the guest, and nothing takes a cut of the order.

Priced on the server, never in the browser

The basket total is recalculated from your live menu before an order is accepted. A tampered price is refused, not charged.

Money lands in your account

You connect your own payment gateway. OwnTable never becomes the merchant of record and never holds your takings.

The guest becomes your customer

Name, phone and order history are written to your customer list on the first order — and are exportable on any day you ask.

What you get

The difference it makes, in practice

Keep the whole ticket

A direct order carries no marketplace commission. What the guest pays, minus your own payment-processing fee, is what you keep.

Set your own prices

No marketplace uplift, no forced discounting. Many restaurants price up on apps to survive the commission; direct, you do not have to.

One menu, everywhere

Edit a dish once. The web page, the QR menu, WhatsApp and the phone agent are all reading the same menu a second later.

Built for a phone in one hand

Most orders arrive on a mobile. The page is designed for a thumb first and a laptop second, and loads on a weak connection.

Pickup, delivery, dine-in and drive-thru

One page handles every fulfilment type you offer, with its own lead times, fees and payment rules per type.

Arabic and English, properly

Full right-to-left layout, not a translated stylesheet. The whole page mirrors, including the cart and the checkout.

How it works

Live in days, not quarters

  1. 1

    Bring your menu in

Photograph a printed menu, paste your existing menu URL, or upload a spreadsheet. The AI importer reads it into dishes, sections and prices for you to check.

  2. 2

    Connect how you get paid

Pick your gateway and paste your own keys. Cash on collection works from the first minute if you would rather start there.

  3. 3

    Share one link

Put it in your bio, on a table card, on the receipt, on a printed QR. There is no app for the guest to install.

  4. 4

    Orders land on the board

Every order appears live on the orders board and the kitchen screen, whichever channel it came from.

In detail

Everything included

Fulfilment and pricing rules

The rules your restaurant already runs on, encoded once.

  • Pickup, delivery, dine-in and drive-thru, each independently switchable
  • Delivery zones drawn on a map, with a fee and a minimum per zone
  • ASAP or scheduled-for-later, with per-daypart prep times
  • Opening hours and closures, so the page refuses an order you cannot cook
  • Discount codes and automatic offers, scoped to a dish or a section
  • Service charge, tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive by region, and tipping

Taking the money

You connect your own gateway; OwnTable never holds your funds. Cards, wallets and cash are all first-class.

  • Stripe and PayPal, live-proven end to end
  • Regional gateways for the Gulf, Pakistan and the UK
  • Apple Pay, opened on your gateway's own secure page
  • Cash on collection and pay-at-the-window
  • Refunds that call the gateway first and record only on confirmation
  • Built for KSA e-invoicing, including the Phase-2 invoice chain and QR

Catering and large orders

The enquiries that never fit a checkout.

  • A public catering enquiry form per restaurant
  • Enquiries land in the same leads inbox as everything else
  • Guest count, date, budget and notes captured up front

The business outcome

What changes on the P&L

Every order you move from a marketplace to your own page returns the commission on that order to your margin — and adds a customer record you can market to for free, forever. Your dashboard tracks both numbers, so the switch is something you can see rather than something you have to believe.

Questions

The things owners actually ask

Something not here? Ask us directly — you will get a straight answer, including when the answer is no.

  • No, and we would not advise it on day one. The apps are a discovery channel — people who have never heard of you find you there. OwnTable is the channel you move your regulars onto, because a regular does not need to discover you again. Most restaurants run both and watch the direct share climb.
